We met at Parc 55 Hotel where Jim was an engineer and I worked at sales dept in 1989. He introduced me fishing, elk hunting, watching basketball game and even a great Japanese restaurant Kabuki. I only saw him a few times in the last 10 years but have a great deal of fun memories. Thank you Jim for having being in my life and I will always remember you.

My heart felt sympathy to the Kirwans in there time of loss and grief. Though we are unworthy. Only say the word and we shall be healed

Sheila and I would like to pass on our condolences to the Kirwan Family you know we're feeling it with you.
Well it goes without saying how much you will missed Jim, you can't replace 40+ years of friendship or sum it up in a few words. You're a great and loyal friend who always stayed in contact ,who would give the shirt off his back to a friend in need, really just to many memories things done and life lived between us to mention. All the Bros from the Sunset days will miss you Buddy you know the ones I mean except of course the ones you happen to have Pissed Off ! Ha Ha Gonna miss those 6am get up phone calls. See you later Jimmy

We were lucky enough to have been Jim's neighbors for the past several years and became very close to him, Scrapper and Jake. We think of them often and their absence has been difficult. Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends he has left behind. May peace and love be with you Jim!

I can not express how much I will miss my brother. We have shared many great days & long nights together. He was fun, crazy and always kept me laughing. From fishing in the bay to target practice and the last golf game he played with my husband not to long ago. Jimmy, you will always be in my heart like Kathy and someday I will see you on the other side. With all my love, Laura

We are so sorry to hear that Jim is no longer with us! We met Jim in Sept 2009 and he was kind enough to rent us his house. Jim's funny ways will be missed!
Our hearts go out to his Father and Family!

SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF JIM'S PASSING...I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO MEET THE KIRWAN'S THROUGH MY DAD WALDO REESINK... I REMEMBER DRIVING DOWN THE COAST AS KIDS 7/8 YEARS OLD LOOKING FOR JUST THE RIGHT SPOT TO GET ABALONE AND HAVE A FEED,,, WE ALL SAT IN THE BACK SEAT HITTING AND PUNCHING EACH OTHER THE ENTIRE WAY LAUGHING AND GIGGLING LIKE KIDS DO. STEVE AND JIM WERE LOTS OF FUN AND QUITE A HANDFULL TOGETHER. JIM WAS ALWAYS ONE OF THE TOUGHEST GUYS AROUND, HIS DAD MADE STEVE AND JIM BOTH REALLY TOUGH KIDS. JIM WAS ALWAYS A CHICK MAGNET,, AND HAD LOTS OF PERSONALITY. I WENT TO GIANINNI AND LINCOLN TWO YEARS BEHIND JIM, BUT IN STEVES CLASS. I SURE MISS ALL THE FUN WE HAD SO MANY YEARS AGO. I ALSO MADE IT TO THE WEDDING OF JIM AND SHERYL AT THE LEGION OUTPOST HALL IN GURNEVILLE, AT JOHNSONS BEACH AT THE RIVER. THAT NITE THEY SAID" NOBODY SLEEPS TONIGHT". WHAT A GREAT FUN WEDDING DAY THAT WAS. GOD BLESS YOU JIM AND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, AND THOSE YOU HOLD DEAR...MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU, MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK, MAY THE SUN SHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE, THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS,, AND UNTILL WE MEET AGAIN MAY GOD HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND...............
