James F. Loeffler passed away peacefully at home on October 13 surrounded by his loving family. James was survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris, his sons Craig (Leda) and Bill (Paula), Grandchildren Giancarlo (Valerie), Robin, Mark, Phillip, sister Louise Hagemeier, cousin Madalyn Schwartz, and numerous friends and relatives. James was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Gertrude and sisters Betty Hercules and Eileen Wilcox. He was assisted by Eleonor and Angelita during his illness.
James was a native of St. Peters, MO. During WWII he served in the Navy on the U.S.S. San Francisco and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was also a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union-Local 104 for 67 years.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 18th at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 2559 40th Avenue, San Francisco, followed by the Committal at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission Road, Colma.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hanna Boys Center, P.O. Box 100, Sonoma, CA., 95426-0100 or to the charity of your choice in memory of James F. Loeffler.

Always remember that earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. I will keep the Loeffler Family in my daily Prayer.
