James Simons Obituary

James Kirkland Simons June 13, 1939 - May 14, 2010 Jim passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home in Denver, NC where he had lived the past two years. He is survived by his wife, Irene; daughters, Janet Ulinger (Keith) and Nancy Bone' (Scott); and grandchildren Connor, Mikayla, Cameron, Madison, Justin and Ashley. Jim retired from the San Francisco Police Department in 1990. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and if he wasn't spending time with his family he was working on his latest Harley project. He had a great love of animals, especially his dog Beau. He will be remembered for his generosity, his great sense of humor and his easy going nature. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather and will be forever missed. A celebration of his life will be held June 13th at 1pm in Discovery Bay. Even though we have not seen Jim in quite a while, Ethel and I will always remember him as a good person and friend.May god watch over him.
