11/02/83 - 5/25/14
Loving son of David and Pamela Hansen. Big brother to his twin sisters Alicia and Erin Hansen.Devoted father to Demetrius T., Jior E. and Jay E Hansen Jr. Jay was educated in the SFUSD and graduated from Raoul Wallenburg High School. Upon completion of high school Jay attended Grambling State University for 1 year. Upon his return to California Jay continued his education at CCSF where he earned his AA degree. Jay was currently attending SFSU and was less than 20 units from completing the requirements for his BA degree. Jay leaves a multitude of family and friends and will forever be missed by all those he came in contact with during his brief time on this earth.
Friends may visit Thursday, June 5th, from 4pm to 7pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City. A Funeral Mass celebrating Jay's life will be held Friday, 11am at All Hallows Catholic Church, 1440 Newhall St. (at Palou Ave.), San Francisco. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Colma.

I played basketball, baseball, and boxed with Jay way back at the Portola Girls and Boys Club. Just talked to him last year about helping some kids. He was always a good dude. RIP Fam.
