Late of Vacaville and formerly of South San Francisco, entered into rest at home on December 26, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Virginia McClain for 52 years. Loving father of Bill McClain (his wife Linda), Joyce Geranios (the late George) and Jerry McClain (his wife Debbie). Dear brother of Ed McClain (his wife Elea Mae), Chrisitine Ritter (the late Bill), the late Merle and the late Bill. Also survived by his sister-in-law, Connie Joyce; his cherished grandchildren, Jeanette, Johnny, Rosie, Jerrod, Jerry, the late Peter, Nicholas, Kyle, Susie and Ryan; including 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
A native Heavener, Oklahoma, age 88 years.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday, January 10, 2023 after 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Of The Highlands, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae, with a service at 12:00 noon. Interment service will follow at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.
His family appreciates donations to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.

Dear Joyce, Bill and Jerry. So sorry to hear of your fathers passing. He was a very unique individual and will be missed. I was privileged to know and work with Jerry for many years as he was like a father to me. Unfortunately we are traveling in Mississippi next week and will not be able to attend the service but know how much we loved Jerry and Virginia.

My dearest uncle will be missed. His smile contagious as he listened to his country music on the stereo. The family would find itself engulfed with laughter, drink in hand and cowboy boots a stomp in. I'll never forget the pleasures we enjoyed in the cabins in Shingle Town. These wonderful memories will live on and on in my heart and soul. I loved this man deeply and I will know him as my second dad.
