Born October 10, 1937 in Boise, Idaho. Deceased November, 11, 2024, age 87, in Troy, Michigan. He and his twin sister, Jean, were raised by their parents, William S. and Lillie I. Nix, in Daly City, California. Was predeceased by his parents and life partner Rhoda E. Goldman, is survived by twin sister, Jean Nix Davis, in Carmichael, California, son Jon T. Nix (Stephanie) in Eugene, Oregon, daughter Julie M. Romney (David) in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and three granddaughters, Sequoia, Ashley, and Madison and two grandsons, Dakota (Danielle) and Nathan, and three great-grandsons, Vladimir, Velarius and Zeddicus. Graduated from Jefferson High School, Daly City, California in 1955. Earned an AA in Architure from the College of San Mateo in 1957. Graduated from University of California in 1964, Berkeley with a BSME, San Jose State University in 1969 with a MSME, and Santa Clara University in 1979 with an MBA. Was a Staff Sargent in the Army Reserves, 1961-1967. Worked 32 years in the defense industry and 18 years in the automotive industry. Was an executive director in both industries specializing in the design and manufacture of tracked and wheeled vehicles. Enjoyed genealogy and traveling, visited dozens of countries on 5 continents. Services and interment were private.

I remember Jerry liked karaoke . Now he and uncle Ross from the pub can enjoy all the karaoke they want and drink coffee . Until then jerry! I'll see you and uncle Ross one day !
