The Skyline faculty as I knew it is passing. Joanne was a wonderful person, great teacher and a friend. She will be sorely missed but remembered by many. RIP

Mrs. McKray sparked my lifelong interest in anthropology when she introduced the Bushmen of the Kalahari in 6th period anthropology class at SHS. I was definitely not a vocal music student.

Joanne McKray was my high school choral teacher for three years. I became a middle school teacher. We have remained friends for over fifty years. She was and is one of the dearest and most inspirational people that I have ever known. She is carried gently by angels now. I know as I go on with my life, I will think of her and the goodness she brought to my life.
If there is a memorial service for her, please let me know. Claudia Dechow email [email protected]
