I talked to Joanne while she was in the hospital last time, and told her I would be up to Sonoma to see her as soon as my surgeon released me for driving. I'm so sad that I was too late. I just this minute learned of her passing. I will miss talking art with her, and will always cherish memories of our trip together to Hawaii for her 80th birthday.
