Joe J. Brand

1924-2014

Born in Sheboygan, WI to the late John & Caroline Brand. Passed away on 7/28/14, in Vista, CA due to respiratory failure.
Loving husband of 60 yrs. to Benvenuta (Genna) Brand. Beloved father of Robert (Marty) Brand & Teresa (Frank) Johnson. Adored grandfather to Scott (Crystabel), Lauren & Nicholas Brand, Jenna & Eric Johnson. Loving brother of Maryann (Ken) Pfister, & deceased twin brother James G. (Castella) Brand & deceased brother Robert J. Brand.
Joe also leaves behind his brothers-in-law, Matt Genna (Estella deceased) and Russ (Marie) Genna, many relatives & friends.
Joe was a WWII veteran. Served in the US Navy Armed Guard in the South Pacific & in Europe. He retired from Cadillac Motor Car in SF. Past resident of Daly City.
Avid cruiser, & fan of the 49'ers. Joe was known for always having a twinkle in his eye and a song in his heart.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, Aug. 15th at the Italian Cemetery Chapel in Colma, CA.
