May you RIP Joe. You were a bright, kind light to all who crossed your path. Your legacy of service to your community lives on in those you touched and the pictures you took of all of us at St Francis and beyond. It was wonderful for me and the Dunne Clan to know you.

Joe Schram was a positive influence in my life. A hard working man with a loving heart and a passion for photography and sports. I was blessed to know him... praise the Lord in welcoming Joe to eternal life.

Joe was an important member of the Ben Roe bunch (all of us on the street) - often attending our summer Friday night curbside cocktails. He had a wonderful time at our July 4th block party this year and he looked great and said he was feeling well, so this was a shock to us all.

Joe was the sweetest, most lovely man. He was always at our swim meets, encouraging everyone with his gentle smile and full hearted cheers. Truly one of the best humans I've known.

Joe was my Father's brother (Bob Schram) who I never got to meet until I took the initiative to visit my California Schram Kin in Christmas of 1984 when I was 22. They were about as opposite as siblings could be as far as brothers go, and I could and can relate to that as I have four brothers myself. Joe was driven to serve his community and work with the youth of Los Altos and Mountain View to better the community, the young people he touched, as well as himself. When I look back on the differences between my Father and his Brother Joe I realize that they were not as different as I perceived in my youth. My Father was driven by business and building a company which he did. Joe was driven to coach, mentor and help the youth of his community to the best of his ability. In the end both men were determined to be second to none in their endeavors. Joe..........I am proud to have been your nephew and I know you are now at peace and your sufferings over. Say Hello to my Dad for me. God Bless You Joe Schram.

Love, Jimmy Schram

Mr. Schram was instrumental in my athletic development during my time at St. Simon. His dedication to the students and the families in the parish and athletic department were not only memorable but also above all others. He was truly a wonderful man and part of his legacy helped shape the adult I have become. Sending all my love and aloha to your family from the island of Maui. Thank you Mr. Schram for all you did for me, my family and all of us. You will be missed but truly never forgotten.

Love always,
Shelly Nyrhila Meirovitz.
