Just found out of his passing. He was my teacher at Sacred Heart High School in 1967-1968. A great football coach and role model. He made our class interesting and was genuinely dedicated to make us responsible young men at a time when society was in turmoil. Sorry that I didn't get a chance to see him and thank for being there.

Jack Cullen was totally a larger than life personality. I respected, appreciated and liked him very much. He was a Friend and Mentor to me but also a long time family friend to my Husband and his family. Loved you so much, Jack.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family, Jackie, and of course for Jack. I recall being at your wedding, being an ND buddy of Jack's. He certainly was one of the world's Great guys and the world is a lesser place without him.

My prayers are being said for the Cullen Family.
Jack was so kind to me over the years and helped me so many times, he truly was a gentle giant. We leaned on him for several years and his guidance for Fr. John was appreciated so much! Watch out - Heaney and Cullen are reunited again!!!

YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE IN OUR PRAYERS.

JACK WAS SO KIND TO OUR UNCLE MONSIGNOR HEANEY OVER MANY YEARS. I KNOW FR. JOHN TREASURED THEIR FRIENDSHIP.

Jack and Jackie were a constant presence at the CMS water polo games for their grandson Tanner and his teammates, including my son. Words cannot express how grateful I was to have these surrogate grandparents with all the boys who could not have family nearby in California. We are from Ohio and after attending a game and meeting them, their warmth and generosity made them like instant family. My prayers are with Jackie and Kevin and Tanner as well as the rest of the family. Jack was a big personality with a big heart. I'm so sad.
