John was, and still is, one of my favorite people.
John was a friendly and inclusive introvert who I'm so glad to have had the honor of befriending. I don't know if I was one of his closest friends, since John had rich and meaningful friendships with many, but he quickly became one of my closest friends. John was so clever, so honest, and so easy-going. He was very intelligent and had an astounding capacity for empathy. He was an aesthete. He was a great cat dad. I miss him.
I love visiting San Francisco, where we met, and going to the crepe place where he would get gummies. I love walking by the ceramics company he had spoken highly of and suggested to me. I think about the spumoni gelato he used to treat himself to in the neighborhood, and our shared gelato dependence.
John's memory lives on in the minds of many. I look back fondly on him and on our friendship. I feel very lucky to have had it.
With love,

John was a beloved friend. We started our legal careers at the same firm, at the same time and became fast friends. He was warm, kind, funny, giving and a wonderful friend. John always made me laugh. He was so giving and kind. I love John and have such fond memories of our time together... what a loving and wonderful friend he was. My love and deepest condolences to his family.
Love,

I worked with John in Complex Litigation. His was truly a gentle spirit. Funny, too. He was a good soldier.
