John Poppin Obituary
John completed both his undergraduate studies and law school at the University of California, Berkeley. He worked tirelessly as an attorney for 47 years before "retiring." Law was his passion. His incisive mind and affection for debate contributed to his success. John will be remembered by family and friends for his love of San Francisco, the 49ers, classical music and jazz, fine Italian cuisine and his beloved Porsche 356.
John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anne (nee Hughes), son John (Karolyn), two grandchildren, his younger sister, Myrna, two nephews Brent (Karin) and Mark (Lynette) and their children.
In accordance with John's wishes, no services are scheduled. A private Celebration of Life was held for family and close friends at the Top of Mark, San Francisco.
