I first want to send Sonia, Lisa, John Jr., Mike, and your entire family; my heartfelt condolences. I was hoping to see all of you, and extend my well wishes in person, but Duggan´s said you had everything yesterday. I knew the parking lot was too empty? Oh well, I can see John Sr. laughing on this one, haha! But seriously, if it wasn´t for your Dad, I wouldn´t have gotten into the Electrical Trade, which helped shape me on becoming the person I am today. I´ll always be indebted and grateful for John Sr. and Sonia´s encouragement to keep pushing forward, which I did; eventually getting into Local 6, which I am so proud of. If there´s one thing I can share with all the Grandkid´s, Great Grandkid´s, etc. is that your Dad left a living Legacy to all of us. He was a great role model to many, including myself. He was a caretaker for all his fellow Electrician´s, and friend´s. He was always involved, he was always encouraging, positive, and let you know that when you put the work in and support those around you doing the same thing; that everything will work out. Very reassuring when you´re in the middle of a complicated situation, not knowing which way to turn. But having first hand knowledge of this, John had this quiet confidence and leadership (caring personality) quality in him, where he´d just smile at you, and say; "You´re doing fine, you´ll get this". Doesn´t seem like much, but it speaks volumes when you´re in the thick of it. Or, he would say, "I´ll go look into it, otherwise, you´re doing very well". Always positive, reassuring, and confident! With John, you always knew things would work out. And lastly, he always went out of his way to say hi. Here I´m a 20 something year old apprentice, and John would be on the job I was at for business related matters, and he would always stop by and say hello, and see how I was doing? Pretty Special Man, I would say! Getting a little smile from John, or a little laugh, was a validation to me that I was on the right path. I always believed in myself, but John´s encouragement meant the World to me. In closing, it saddens me to see the people that were role model´s to me growing up, being called home to heaven. Their legacy, purpose, etc. in life, was left in good hands. Seeing John Jr. and Mike be very successful in their business, definitely made their Dad proud. And Lisa, being such a big part of our Electrical Family as well, working with EISB, and making each one of us feel so welcomed, appreciated, cared for, etc. You were definitely Daddy´s Girl Sonia, Thank You for being the sweetest Woman in the World. I know how much you love your family and friends. You always made us a part of your´s... Again, I´m SO sorry I couldn´t be there to share in your Dad´s Celebration of Life. However, I am grateful that I was able to know John Walsh and his Family, and have the honor of being able to call all of you my life long friend´s. Hope to see you guy´s in Twain Harte, and may God Bless all of you in every way..
Hugs and Loves to all of You,
Jim ( Jimmy) Reardon Jr.

With great love & respect to John Sr Family ** I first met your Dad at McLaren Park while walking JohnJr/Mike's dog. We soon had monthly dinners with stories of his travels, Poly High and Sr Family updates updates mixed with his seven & seven and wine during these many meals. We watch 49'ers 2002 Super Bowl at his "444" house. JMW had great love and respect for his children and the many grand kids in their education and careers. JMW was proud of being Irish and a native San Franciscan.
