John Wilson Obituary
June 24, 1937 - November 22, 2022
John Cornell Wilson, Jr. passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022 at the age of 85. He was born and raised in San Jose, CA on June 24, 1937 to Helen Bechtel and John Cornell Wilson, MD.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his sibling, Linda, his daughter Katie and his youngest son, Chris. He is survived by his loving wife, Kristin of 58 years, his son John, John's wife Kris, his two granddaughters, Lauren and Ally and his oldest sister Libby.
Raised in San Jose, he went to Abraham Lincoln High School, then to UC-Berkeley, Class of 1959. John continued his higher education at the University of California- Berkeley earning a master's degree in finance.
John's keen mind for numbers began his long career in finance, starting at the accounting firm of L.C.Penny, (Where he earned his CPA designation) Dean Witter (investment banking) Pandick Press, CP National, Pacific Lumber Co., Pacific Securities and retiring from his own firm, Wilson Associates (business valuations). John was a lifelong golfer and was a long-time member of the San Francisco Golf Club. He also had enjoyed his time with his campmates at the Bohemian Grove.John was a kind and loving man with a quick wit who enjoyed his life to the fullest. He will be missed and forever in our hearts. Celebration of Life to follow in the new year.

Found this notice while searching for another friend. So sorry to hear. Would have been to funeral if there was one and I'd known. John was one of the groomsmen in our wedding and a fellow DTD with my husband Tom.
