Joseph Cody Obituary

Joseph James Cody 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2. He resided in Burlingame for over 44 years with his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Honey Cody. He is survived by his five children: Casey, Joe "Beanie", Terry and his wife Michele, Shane and Carolyn; his sisters Karen Linsmayer and Sheila Cody; and brother, Dick Cody; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the beloved grandfather of Alexandra, Jack Patrick and Madelyn whom always brought a smile to his face. His dry and uncanny sense of humor will be missed by us all. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Angels, 1721 Hillside Dr., Burlingame, CA, Tuesday, April 8, 11:00 a.m. Flowers may be sent to Our Lady of Angels.

Joe will be missed by so many he definately was a one of a kind. His sense of humor was wonderful I personally will miss Joe he always brought a smile to my face and made me laugh specially on the golf course I was fortunate enough to play with Joe and shared a golf cart boy he sure made me laugh the whole time on the course. Our family will miss you.

To my wonderful, funny brother Joe. You will always be remembered and your memory cherished. I am so sorry for all of the pain you suffered the past six months. We can all take comfort in the fact that you are now in the care of our loving Savior.
