Joseph Corbin Obituary

Joseph J. Corbin, Jr. February 16, 2006 at the age of 83 Dearly beloved husband of Nancy Corbin; devoted son of the late Aileen and Joseph Corbin Sr.; loving brother of the late Maureen (James) Welsh; uncle to Jim Welsh, Dennis Welsh, Mary Welsh, Joanne Maher and many great-nephews and great-nieces. Joe was honored by the City and County of San Francisco for 50 years of service as a parking meter repair supervisor. Lifelong member of the Peninsula Ski Club of San Mateo. Joe was a third-generation native San Franciscan, an avid skier, biker and hiker, and the loving caretaker of his '67 Ford Mustang convertible. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, February 21st from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, and are invited to attend the Vigil, Tuesday, 7:00pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00am, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 3240 Lawton St, SF. Committal will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission Rd., Colma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Hanna Boys Center, PO Box 100, Sonoma CA 95476-0100 or to the U.S. Olympic Committee, 1 Olympic Plaza, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
