Joe was a dear freind, having known him in his Philly days @ St. Joe's dance when he first met Dot. Years later, we reconnected with Joe through Dot and got to spend lots of time together @ the Jersey shore, in Florida & even traveled to CA for a visit and traveled with Joe & Dot as a visitor to San Francisco and up to Reno for a few days.
Joe was a loving, friendly individual who once you met him you would immediately feel comfortable with. The last time we saw Joe was in NJ @ Dot's where we shared lunch & conversation in late September. He said many times how much Dot was his savior during his illness and how without her to help he would not know what he would do. RIP Joe...keep watch over Dot, she needs lots of support after losing both Colleen & you in a 6 week period.

Marianne, fathers are such special people. I hope that after the sadness of losing yours subsides, in time you'll be left with only sweet and comforting memories. It sounds like he was a great man, loved by many.
