Passed away peacefully on May 28 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Albert Ambrose; loving mother of Steven, Debbie, Darlene and Michael; loving grandmother of Danny and Chris.

Josephine lived in San Francisco for her entire life and graduated from Washington High School. She loved being around people and enjoyed working at various shops in West Portal and Lakeshore Plaza after her children were grown. She volunteered for 15 years at St. Stephen's Church where she was a proud and active member of the Fifty Plus Club. She loved singing along with her husband Albert at the piano before his passing. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and playing bingo with her friends. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Josephine's life will be held Friday, June 2, 2017, 9:30AM at St. Stephen Church, 451 Eucalyptus Drive, SF, burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma. In lieu of flowers donations, may be made in memory of Josephine Ann Ambrose to St. Stephen Parish Fund, 451 Eucalyptus Drive, SF, CA 94118.
