I met Joyce at the doctor´s office she would go to. Although our age difference was big, she befriended me and we would have our Mediterranean lunches on Fillmore. She was a very kind and friendly woman. I woke up this morning and thought of her :). Thank you for your friendship, Joyce.

I’m sorry to hear about the passing of Joyce. I was her hairstylist for 30 years. She was one of my first clients in 1965. Joyce was not only a client but a very dear friend. I made marveled at how she lived and lived life. I always told her she “helped me to grow up.” After I retired fro hairdressing we kept in touch. I would pick her up for a shopping trip out if the area and have lots lunch. Those were special times. If you knew Joyce at all she made everything special. She loved her family and treated my kids in the same way. I hope this message reaches out to her family. I will miss her dearly.
