I worked with Kay at candlestick from the time I was 13 years old until 23. She was like a grandma to me since we worked together almost every game.
The fond memories I have of her was her love for conversation. Our customers loved her (as we all did) and it was so easy to converse with her. Sometimes someone would strike up a conversation with her just to make small talk and then she would tell them her "back in my day.." story and she would tell it from beginning to end. And she would not let you leave until she was done. Sometimes during a busy baseball game it wasn't the time to tell that long story. Everyone loved her. And that is what I loved about her.
Thinking of those memories really bring a smile to my face. I would love to listen to one of those stories again.
I'm glad she had a wonderful life. I saw her about 5 years ago and she was still working out at the park like the strong willed woman she was. She really made a difference in my life and I am so lucky to have known her.
I am sorry i was unable to attend her memorial. I would have loved to tell this in person. I hope she had a peaceful passing. I want to extend heartfelt thoughts and prayers to her family. How lucky you were I have her as your mom/grandma/auntie, etc.
I will miss her forever. Thank you for being you Kay. See you somewhere over the rainbow.<3

I was sorry to hear of Kaye's passing. I knew her only through my sister, Joan Blundell, who worked with her at Wells Fargo. She was very kind to my sister. They had any good times together.

My sincere sympathy to the family. My girlfriend and I enjoyed many weekends attending movies, and lunches more times than I could count over the years. Val's in Daly City was our favorite spot! I will miss her.
