Kent Larson Obituary

Kent Charles Larson

Kent Charles Larson, 75, died August 14th at his home in Wayzata, MN with his family. A devoted husband, adored father and revered grandfather, Kent will be remembered for his integrity, loyalty, wisdom and subtle sense of humor. He made every person he knew-whether for a few minutes or a lifetime-feel like they mattered. Born April 14, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN, Kent attended The Blake School, Duke University, Macalester College and The Wharton School of Business. He built an impressive career at The Pillsbury Company, Williams Sonoma, and US Bank. He was active in numerous boards, most recently serving as a Board Director for The Charles Schwab Bank and Bachman's; and he was committed to a wide range of non-profit organizations focused on education and healthcare. Kent was an avid athlete and passionate about golf, duck hunting and spending time at his home in Sonoma, CA with all of his family under one roof. He was a great friend to all and loved spending time with friends at the San Francisco Golf Club, Woodhill Country Club and The Minneapolis Club. Kent is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Larson, daughters Kelly Perry and husband Chris, and Ashley Mehbod and husband Amir, his five grandchildren whom he adored, and his brother, Robert Larson and sister Cindy Lackey. A celebration of Kent's life will be held at Woodhill Country Club on Wednesday, September 3rd at 4p.
