I had the privilege of living with Kevin in college and first few years afterwards. Kev is a close friend and brother. He helped shape me to who I am today. He meant so much to Laura and myself, standing by us at our wedding.
We are heartbroken that we can´t be there to celebrate Kev´s life ( traveling back from overseas)
We pray for Lara and the kids, the McCarthy´s and Orsi families. We celebrate the joy Kevin brought to everyone he met. He will forever beloved, always in our hearts and very missed.

It was heartbreaking to hear about Kevin´s sudden passing. I had the privilege of working closely with him across many years. Kevin was always polite, gentle, and respectful. I still remember how often he expressed his gratitude to me for one particular matter, which truly reflected his kind and appreciative nature. His warmth, humility, and grace will always be remembered.
I can imagine Kevin as one of the most beautiful angels in heaven now, at peace on his journey. He will be deeply missed by all of us at Marvell, both as a colleague and as a friend.

I knew him for just over 1 year but long enough to experience his tranquility and optimism that he would infect into everyone at every occasion.

I was fortunate to work alongside Kevin McCarthy during our time at Anthem Electronics in the 1980s, and later as partners at BAE Sales. Kevin was a true professional whose positive outlook, sense of humor, and integrity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered with great respect and fondness. My sincere condolences to the McCarthy family. I graduated with Kevin from SI in 1984. While many years went by I reconnected with Kevin at St. Plus parish in Redwood City where are kids went to school. We were both able to coach our kids on various teams and I was able to coach some of his kids on the track and field team and coach with his wife Lara. It was good reconnecting with Kevin. He was always positive and friendly. He will be missed in the community.

I am in shock and so sad to hear of Kevin´s passing. I went to SCU with Kevin and we were both marketing majors. He was always ready to share a smile or make a funny comment. I enjoyed visiting with him at one of the reunions and unexpectedly ran into him at a Whole Foods when I was in town several years ago. The SCU reunions won´t be the same without him. Condolences to his family (he proudly talked about his kids).

I am heartbroken to hear about Kevin's passing. Kevin was my coworker and friend for close to 30 years. Kevin was (and will always be) a bright light who brought so much joy to everyone who knew him.
