Grateful to have known Krysta as a shy but athletic and competitive, young softball player. With her unique style (hat always cocked slightly to the side), Krysta was a bright light. Not only was her athleticism on full display every practice, but her kindheartedness helped establish a wonderful team culture. She was beloved. I wish she would have stayed with our team; the other girls benefitted from her unique personality - quiet, kind, determined.
Never forgotten. Rest in peace, angel.

Like 1 or 2 years ago a trend on TikTok got popular among all the high schools in the world and a video of Piedmont High got popular and I started to watch their little videos and I followed some of the kids on instagram as I thought they were so cool! Among them there was Krysta who I honestly thought was very pretty and so well dressed! Therefore sometimes I would go checking her page on instagram as I really liked her aesthetic and today I found out she was gone, I am so sad. I´m call Bea, I´m a 20 years old girl from Italy, I send you my deepest condolences and I pray for Krysta and her family

Carl,
Your family has been on my mind the last 2 months, as I cannot imagine how hard it has been for all of you to cope with such a devastating loss. Krysta was an incredible young woman.
I hope that you all are starting to find some peace and that you feel the love of your whole community who want to support you through this painful time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My kid knew Krysta from school. He wasn´t super close to her, but they shared many mutual friends and classes and he has so far many fond memories of her. He was crushed when he found out and still is. We spent an entire morning crying together, and are still texting about it. How to process something so unimaginable? So sad? Sending lots of solidarity and light to her family and friends. Her light will always remain so strong. I am so so sorry.

So deeply sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to have met Krysta very few times, we shared our common interest in fashion design. She is so bright and kind. I hope you find comfort and solace in your family and friends. Krysta will never be forgotten and will always be remembered for the sparkle and beauty she brought to life.

I had only spoken to Krysta a handful of times, but she was a classmate of mine this past quarter in a public speaking course. I was so nervous about taking this class, but whenever I went up to present, there were a few students I would look to for support-Krysta was always one of them. Whether it was a small nod while she knit or an encouraging smile, she had a way of making me feel supported, even though we had just met this quarter. My heart goes out to her family and to all who knew her. I´m so sorry for your loss.
