Larry Luce

LUCE, Larry - Passed away at home on Sept. 19, 2005 after a nearly four-year battle with prostate cancer. He was 76. Larry's life work was counseling his investment advisory clients and publishing the Mutual Fund Monitor. He passionately pursued many other interests. He was a tennis player, music lover, pianist, gourmet cook, author of two cookbooks and creator of Special Flavors, a website for food aficionados. He cooked dinner every night and was an avid and discriminating follower of current events. He leaves his wife, Nina; two children, Kitty and Brandon Luce; three stepsons, Allan, Gregg, and Larry King; and nine grandchildren. He was himself to the end, and we will miss him greatly. A Memorial Ceremony will be held Sunday, October 2 at 4:30 PM at Sunset View Mortuary at the top of Fairmount Ave., El Cerrito, phone: 510-525-5111.
