Laura Law Fong 76, passed away peacefully on Oct. 14 at home with her family at her bedside. A life-long San Franciscan, Laura attended Francisco and Lowell H.S., U.C. Berkeley and S.F. State. A former public educator and school principal, Laura enjoyed equally the sustenance of her family and friends, the pleasure of a symphony or opera, and the serenity of her Chinese brush painting. Laura is survived by her loving family: husband, David; sons, Bruce & Douglas; sister, Carol; brother, Bill, and all of their respective children and grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Laura's life and share fond memories, Saturday, Nov. 3, 1 p.m., at the Forest Hill Club House, 381 Magellan Street.
