Lena Rose Rattaro At rest September 1, 2006, age 93. Loving wife of the late Joseph `Pipo' Rattaro. Beloved mother of Deana (James) Ratto, Linda (Michael) Mahoney and Fred (Pam) Rattaro. Cherished grandmother of Steve, Lou, Jeff, Joe, Jeanna, Marc and Ryan. Great- grandmother of Kassie, Ali, Gianna and Maddalena. Devoted sister of the late John and Louie Bertone and Tillie Bracco. Sister-in-law of Eleanor Bertone. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Lena's loving caregiver, Marylou Mandecote. Member of Our Lady of Grace, Castro Valley and the `World's Best Foccaccia Maker'. Donations to Hospice By the Bay, 1540 Market St., SF. preferred. Friends may visit on Thursday after 4:00 PM and attend the Vigil Service also on Thursday at 6:00 PM and the funeral on Friday at 9:30 AM from the chapels of VALENTE MARINI PERATA & CO.,4840 Mission St, SF; thence to Mission Dolores Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.

My heart goes out to the whole Rattaro family. I will never forget the many Holidays that I shared with Lena. She was a very special person to all of us.
