Leo Arnold Obituary

Leo Arnold Jr.
12/12/2022
Three years ago our dearly beloved father was taking his evening walk with a neighbor, and they stopped to admire the sunset over Bodega Bay. As they watched the sunset our father suffered a heart attack and passed away. He died in the place he most loved, Bodega Bay, doing what he loved, walking around his neighborhood with a friend.
There is not a day that goes by that we don't think of our father, a wonderful man who taught us to live life fully, as he did. From an early age he was independent and adventurous, always seeking to take the road less traveled.
Leo (or Ed) attended Saint Mary's College and went into the Air Force where he flew some of the first jets the US put into action. He then attended law school in Washington DC, settled in San Francisco and passed the Bar on his first try. He practiced law in San Francisco for decades until he decided to move his practice to Larkspur where he continued to work until he was in his 90's.
He leaves behind three adoring children, Jacqueline Heffner (Stan), Robert, Christopher (Margaret), four grandchildren; Laura, Stephen, Alex and Achilles, his brother Paul and sister Barbara, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa Ravetti Arnold, his second wife, Linda Arnold, his sisters Dorothy and Phyllis, and brother John.

Climbing high into the sun"
