Linda Lynch Obituary

Linda L. Lynch September 14, 1946 - August 13, 2006 On August 13, Linda Lynch ascended into Paradise and the arms of our loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and is now in the presence of God and the Angels. Linda passed away peacefully in Daly City, at the age of 59, surrounded by her family and cherished friends. Linda is survived by her mother, Marge Larrew; two sons, Anthony (Elsa) and Christopher and beloved grandson, Tyler. Linda was born in San Francisco on September 14, 1946 and spent her entire life in the S.F. Bay Area. She graduated from Terra Nova High School in Pacifica and later obtained her AA Degree in Cosmetology from College of San Mateo. She worked professionally and took great pleasure in her craft as a beautician and later as a small-business owner. When it came to Linda's passions, she loved animals above all, especially her precious horse, Shadow. She also enjoyed creating elaborate arts and craft projects that could be used as personalized gifts to the loved ones in her life. She was also an avid sports fan and passionately followed both the Giants and 49ers Linda was best known for her generous and friendly nature and will be well-remembered by both family and friends for being a "one-of-a-kind" individual. She is someone who truly cared about people and made a profound difference in the lives of many. Above all, she was a devoted mother and over the last few years of her life, took extreme pride in serving as Grandma Linda to Tyler Lynch, the absolute light of her life. Her family would like to thank the nursing staff of Seton Medical Center who diligently worked to make her final days as comfortable as possible. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 19, 1pm, at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's name to the American Lung Association. Linda will be greatly missed.

While I only met Linda a handful of times, I can personally attest to her warm and open spirit. She was welcoming, funny and down-to-earth. The true testament to her good nature is exemplified and continued through her sons. My family and I send our heartfelt sympathy and thoughts to Linda's mother, sons, Anthony and Chris and grandson, Tyler. Much love, Jennie
