Lori Eaton Obituary

Lori Ann Eaton

Nov 23, 1957 – Dec 10, 2014

Lori passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Dec 10 after a long battle against multiple sclerosis. She was a resident of Daly City.
Lori was born in Worcester, MA, graduating from Shrewsbury High School. She moved to San Francisco, CA in her early 20s, fell in love with the area, and decided to stay. As an avid gardener, Lori worked for various florists in San Francisco. During her employment, she obtained her horticultural degree at City College in 1989. Ending her working career, she was employed at Safeway through 2006.
Lori had a generous spirit, quick wit and a love for people. She enjoyed entertaining, and cooking various delectable dishes for all to enjoy. Another joy of Lori's life was her pet cats and dogs that she lovingly cared for.
Lori is survived by sisters Nancee Bullard (Robert), and Charlene Steinert (David); brother Steven Eaton, and various nieces and nephews. Lori also leaves behind her loving companion Patrick Flanagan, whose devotion to Lori was exemplary.
Lori's life has been a blessing despite the suffering she endured. We take comfort that now Lori has gone to be with her Lord, and the former things have passed away.
The family thanks the staff at Burlingame Long-term Care in Burlingame for their years of dedicated care during Lori's residence there.
Family and friends are invited to visit after 10:30 AM, Friday, December 19, 2014 at CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, 194 Millwood Dr. at El Camino in Millbrae where the funeral will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in San Mateo. Contributions in lieu of flowers to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, POB 23664, Oakland, CA 94623 are suggested.
