On this anniversary I remember Dr. Vuksinick for the amazing healer that he was and his spirit which lives on in so many of his patients and friends. He lives on in our dreams and in our spiritual selves as we hold him close as he held us. It does not seem like it is 12 years ago. He saw my son for five years and I will always be grateful for his presence in his life and in ours. May his memory continue to be a blessing. Nitza Agam

Lou was one of the strongest forces in my life, buttressing me from death of friends, a young wife and my family. He always moved me on with my life, when I could not. His care and caring, his heart, his firm faith, his insights into a tormented life lifted me in the darkest of hours to prepare me for the light. He was finally successful, though only his spirit really knows that now. Bless you, Lou. and thank you from the bottom of my soul for your goodness. Love, Reed

I have seen Lou off and on for almost 20 years. He guided me through some of the most difficult times in my life including the loss of my marriage, the death of my life partner, betrayal by a friend, and the loss of my mother. In these later years, I saw him less and less because somehow his gentle, wise voice had become a part of me. I find myself asking "What would Lou say?" No doubt something challenging, surprising and maybe even humorous... with a sparkle in his eye. I will miss him dearly with a grief that is difficult to explain to those who do not understand the bond. I am so grateful for having known him and received his counsel, insight and wisdom over the years.

I met Dr. "Lou" about 16 years ago. He helped me through many rough times, and taught me how to help myself. He was more like family to me than a doctor. He was my guide. I am a lot lost without him. But I have all of his words of advise, encouragement and wisdon in my heart. I go there when I need to talk to him. My prayers and thanks go out to his Wife and family. I truly wanted to see and talk to him when I got the letter from his partner from the office. I wanted to try and help him as he had helped me. I would love to meet Mrs. Lou one day. I'm sure she is a wonderful lady. May God's Will be done. Alene M. Ward aka (Penny Young).

Lou guided me through some of my most difficult times, steadied me and made me able to be strong for my own family- he literally helped save my life. I am so saddened that I will not be able to talk to him again, but he gave me the strength to continue without him. He was a true physician and healer

Dear Jan and Family,
It is with great sadness and broken hearts we mourn the death of our beloved nephew Louis, to us he was the epitome of all that is good, worthy of praise and recognition.
Early in life he set goals for himself and never wavered achieving them! We, his family were so proud of him always.
We are so thankful that he was able to come home to visit for a short time. We reminisced about times gone by, bringing back laughter and some tears.
We regret not attending his funeral service.
By the Grace of the Lord, take him to Heaven to a joyous reunion with loved ones gone before him.

God Bless All!
Love Uncle Henry and Aunt Nadine Skriner

Lou was a beacon of humanity to me at a time I needed it most, at a time when I didn't know what I needed at all. Decent, human, skilled, gentle. God bless him!

Ship, by Helen Steiner Rice

A ship sails away
and we see it no more.
But we know it is going
to some other shore.
Our dear ones pass on
and we see them no more,
but we know
they are waiting
on some other shore.

Before becoming a patient of Lou's, I walked as a shell of a person through life. With ongoing treatment until his passing, he saw me through both his and my illnesses, laughed with me, cried with me and guided me into the person I am today. I am now honored to to thank Lou for his patience and belief that I could and would become a whole person living a life filled with fullness. Lou will always be alive in my heart and soul. God's blessings to you, Lou.
