Mae Fong Obituary

Mae Jane Fong Aug. 28, 1914 - March 19, 2009 Preceded by her husband, Lawrence S. Fong. Mae died peacefully at Fremont Hills Assisted Living. Mae was born in Canton, China and came to the U.S. in 1946. She became a U.S. citizen at the age of 48. Her faith and trust in Jesus Christ directed her loving and caring ways. Mae is survived by her five children: Susan Wong (Ben), Marilyn Fong (Clifford), Theodore Fong (Harriet), Andrew Fong (Vina) and Evelyn Hom (Richard). Mae is also survived by 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Albert Brown Mortuary on Thursday, March 26, 2009, from 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009, at 11 am, both located at 3476 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA 94611.
