Leaving me with fond memories of are times spent together as my Sponsor /Tuner. Our early days working together at Honda of San Francisco , my self, fresh out of high school chasing parts at Hap Jone's distributors . Fred, head mechanic trouble shooter innovator. Would go on to tune for the nations top amateur who would later become a world champion in road racing.
And of course the highly contested poker games at Ron Grants house you would hear Freds German accent over the card game buzz and in the company of many different AMA/AFM Racers that would join the fracas.
Always a gentlemen no mater the situation at hand.
My condolences to the family.
