Marc Thompson Obituary
Born April 13, 1972 in Geneva, he passed away June 7, 2014
Marc attended the Painesville United Methodist Church and was a 1990 graduate of Thomas W. Harvey High School in Painesville. He earned a bachelors degree from Kent State University in 1996.
He enjoyed golfing, boating, and working out at the YMCA. Most of all, he loved his family and especially spending time with his niece and nephew. Marc's generous heart and caring nature will be missed.
He is survived by his parents Andy Thompson and Carole (Paumier) Thompson; brother, Scott Thompson; and sister, Lyndsay (John) Clair; nephew, Caiden; and niece, Cameryn Clair.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Opal and Earl Thompson and maternal grandfather, James Paumier.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery Painesville.

Andy, Carol, Scott and Lyndsey-
We were out of town when Marc passed away. I was eating with a group of teachers this past week when Coach C. told us about Marc and how honored he was to be asked to be apart of his funeral. I just can't tell you how sorry we were to hear about Marc. Our thoughts and prayers are sent to all from the Fairbanks.

Marc, we were buddies back in elementary....We haven't communicated in probably 15 years. I have a distinct memory of spending the night at your house, across the street (Rt. 20) from the YMCA. I think Jason Taufer was there too...I distinctly recall that your home had been recently burglarized (we were scared)...anyway, at some point during the evening festivities, the topic of cacti came up & I mentioned that a person can drink water from a cactus to survive in the desert, so.....we proceeded to cut off a piece of cactus houseplant that you had & I tasted it, just to horrifyingly realize that it was incredibly spicy!
I know it's a silly boyhood memory, but it is what reminds me of you.
