Known to her friends as Peggy, died peacefully at home February 3rd at the age of 92.
Wife, mother, grandmother, professor, pacifist, organic gardener and political activist, she will be remembered for her energy in championing many causes and inspiring her associates and students. Peggy received her Phd in English from UC Berkeley. She finished her teaching career at Mills College in 1986.
Peggy is survived by her three children, all still living in the East Bay, and six grandchildren.
There will be no funeral. A memorial is planned for March. For details email [email protected]
