Maria Bermeo Obituary

Maria Guadalupe BermeoMy beloved sister. Born in Alameda, CA April 9, 1951; died on March 6, 2014. She could be most loving and certainly was to me. She could also be funny. When she discovered recently that she had only one kidney, plus it was diseased, I shared with her a friend of mine who was born with 3 kidneys. Her pancake reply was, "can you tell her to give me one?". I have solace that she is now with her only child, Diana Marie Bermeo, who preceded her in death. A brutal loss for her, and one that I empathized with. There is truth that in death there is reaffirmation of life. She is no longer suffering and is with God. A living testament to our lives. Your "big brother" Tony. I shall see you again.
