Dear Ken, Lavonne, Jacci, Eric and families,
We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Marie. She was such a fine example of someone from the greatest generation. She was the epitome of a true lady. So very devoted to Barney and to her beautiful family.
Marie was elegant and always carried herself with a dancer's grace. She always dressed impeccably, with her hair and make-up perfectly done. Her smile did light up the world, and rarely did anyone see her without it. Always there with a ready laugh and her great sense of humor and personality. A real sweetheart!
Our parents really cherished those years when the Caddie would get loaded up and they would travel with your mom and dad to local spots, Tahoe and a few exotic places. There were many adventures, beautiful locales, lots of laughs and fine food that was enjoyed.
It's hard to believe that all of those years have passed since our families met in the 1950's. From the Bayshore district to Buri Buri and Serramonte, we stayed connected for many, many years with our Dad and Barney being best friends for nearly 30 years.
Our family sends our love to each of you during this very difficult time. May God bless you and keep each of you in His tender care now and always.
We will truly miss Marie. She was a very fine lady.
With love,
Sally, Karin and Sue W. and families
