Passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022.
Marie was born on November 30, 1926 in San Francisco, the youngest of 7 children. She was a native San Franciscan and also proud of her Italian (Sicilian) heritage. She was the devoted wife of John, whom she met and married in 1953. They were married for 60 years before his passing in 2013.
She is survived by their two daughters, Loretta Piccinini and Rhonda Borelli; her sons-in-law, Lou Piccinini and Bob Borelli; her grandchildren, Lauren and Nicholas Piccinini; Daniel and Gianna Borelli; and two great-grandchildren, Enzo and Leni Borelli. Marie's life was enriched by the love of her family and friends. She was devoted to her husband and daughters, and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her extended family and friends who all loved her will miss her.
Marie was a loving and caring homemaker, and when her children were grown, she rejoined the work force working in fine clothing stores and art galleries. She loved traveling with her husband and took many cruises to the Caribbean, Alaska, Mexico, and Europe.
Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Service on January 5, 2023 at Crosby-N. Gray & Co. Funeral Home located at 2 Park Road, Burlingame, CA at 10:00a.m. Followed by the Committal Service at the Italian Cemetery located at 540 F Street, Colma, CA.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made to a favorite food bank in Marie's honor.
