Karl,
Sorry to be so late in responding, but just heard about Marilyn. Never will forget our time camping outside Guerneville and driving around looking for Bourbon for Marilyn. Enjoyed our backpacking trips together.
Keep the Faith,

I met Marilyn back in 1984 when I dated her son Paul. She and Karl welcomed me into their family with open arms. Even long after Paul and I stopped dating, she always welcomed me as a friend. Her home was lovely. I always admired her style in home decor. She was never pretentious and again, always welcoming. She will be missed. May God bless her and her wonderful family. Much love -Melanie Macy

Marilyn was a vivacious member of my parents' social and church circles in Berkeley and Oakland since my childhood. I always admired her humor, her style, and her way of taking a personal interest in others. For me, she also stands among the many local, faithful, tireless Catholic women of her era that I have been privileged to know. Women who managed large families, ran our school and parish organizations, volunteered time to service organizations, modeled faith and love in action, mothered us all, and were the pillars of the communities that made up my world. What a life! Thank you, Marilyn.
