For all of Mark's family and close friends. I am sorry for your loss. In high school and our early 20's Mark and I were close. We had a great group including John Shea, John Marty, Brian Hammel and others.
We shared a love of finding talented music groups that no-one had heard of and bringing them to the group. While driving and listening to XM Radio yesterday I kept thinking of the groups (on First Wave) Mark had introduced me to.
I remember Senior cut day in the old VW Bus. We spent the day out at the beach. I was in the passenger seat of the same van in SF when a car crashed into the passenger door where I was sitting. Oh the good times. Ouch.
I have to mention how damn smart Mark was. He really kept you on your toes. For me it took extreme sarcasm to keep him at bay.
You were a good friend. Wish we could have spent more time together.

I am so sorry to hear about Mark's passing having known him since kindergarten when he first moved into the neighborhood in Millbrae. He was funny and very smart, and know he was a blessing to his family all those years you were together.

So very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. Although we regrettably lost contact over the years, I'll always remember his friendship, quirky sense of humor and the great times that John, Tim and I shared with Mark during our time at Capuchino High School.

I'm so sad to learn of Marks passing. I worked with him for about 11 years at Mills hospital in their dialysis dept. Mark and I had a very funny working relationship, I always enjoyed all his history lessons and his knowledge of music. He called me Calhoun the Crazy Chihuahua lady! He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends. God bless you Mark!
