Martha Zemanek Obituary

Martha S. Zemanek Age: 87 years Martha Zemanek passed away peacefully in Petaluma on October 31, 2010. Devoted wife for 59 years to the late William Zemanek of Petaluma. Loving mother of Stephen M. Hardy, Marti Sorentino, Bill Zemanek, Jr., Susan McCormick, and the late Craig M. Hardy. Survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Robert Melvin and the late Wilma "Babe" Renier. Martha grew up in San Francisco. Graduated from Lowell High with Carol Channing as her High School big sister. Bill & Martha moved to Petaluma in 1990 to be closer to their family. Her family was the treasure of her life. A Celebration of Martha's Life will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge #901, 2105 S. McDowell Blvd. Ext., Petaluma Ca. 94954. Martha was always a happy person, with a ready smile and a good joke. She loved her family and her friends. We will miss her.
