Martin Cardone Obituary

Martin Cardone
07/29/1943 - 07/13/2025
Martin Cosmo Cardone
"Marty the Barber"
July 29, 1943 – July 13, 2025
Martin Cosmo Cardone, affectionately known as "Marty the Barber," passed away peacefully at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Born in San Francisco to Dominic and Theresa Cardone, Marty was a lifelong barber who built lasting friendships through his shops in San Francisco and later in Napa. A proud member of the Italian American Social Club, he brought joy and laughter to every gathering.
Marty loved traveling with his beloved wife Marilyn, playing bocce ball, entertaining friends and family, and telling stories-often becoming the heart of any room he entered. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren, whether cheering them on from the sidelines or simply enjoying their company. Always by his side was his loyal dog, Cinnamon, who brought him great comfort and companionship.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn; his children, Marty and Terri Franco (Paul); five grandchildren-Katie (Fletcher), Quentin, Abby, Brenna (Chance), and Emily; two great-grandsons, Walker and Nathan; and his faithful dog, Cinnamon. His legacy lives on through the love he gave and the stories he shared.
Please join us in celebrating his extraordinary life on Sunday, August 17, from 12–3 p.m. at:
Ranch De Napa Estates Clubhouse
6468 Washington St, Yountville, CA

I have fond memories of going to Marty´s barbershop on Geneva Avenue. Marty had a talent of cutting hair and having the customers laughing with his jokes and stories. RIP Marty, you were a legend.
