Quietly passed away in the loving arms of her family in her home of 68 years on January 15, 2022, at the age of 95. The greatest joy in Mary's life were her family: adored mother of Catherine Anne (Katie), John Maurice (RIP 1995), Kevin Daniel, Eileen Marie (RIP 2011) & Denis Gerard. Cherished mother-in-law of Glenda (John) & Mary Ann (Denis). Treasured "Nana" to Tara Marie Mahoney Koop (Gregory Scott Koop II), Shawna Marie Mahoney, Ryan John (Kimberly) Mahoney, Kelly Cantwell, Patrick Kennelly, Sean McGuire, Kevin Taylor & Terry Sullivan Mahoney. Idolized great grandmother to Isabella Angelica Mora; Nathan Tee, Cole Mahoney & Gregory "Scott" Koop III. In 2021 she welcomed with open arms her newest addition Poppy Christine Mahoney. Former wife of Florentz "Jack" Mahoney (RIP 2007). Mary was predeceased by her parents, Hannah Gilbert Foley (RIP 1987) & Maurice Foley (RIP 1954) . Class of 1944 Star of the Sea High School and Charter member of the United Irish Cultural Center. Devoted follower of the Association of the Miraculous Medal & Father Padre Pio. She is remembered with great love & affection by her family & many friends in San Francisco, Loch Lomond, Pine Grove, Clearlake Riviera, and Ireland. The family would like to thank the staff and many Doctors at St. Mary's Medical Center especially Dr. Remo Morelli for the many years of great care they gave our Mother that extended her life with us.
Please join us in celebrating Mary's life at a Memorial Mass to be held on Saturday, May 14th, at 11am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 208 Matheson Street, Healdsburg, CA 95448. Internment August 13th, on Mary's 96th birthday, at 11am Glenbrook Cobb Cemetery, 12969 Bottle Rock Road, Kelseyville, CA. 95451. The family prefers Memorial Contributions to EWTN TV, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210 who brought the Rosary and Mass to her daily.

Growing up Mary was like a 2nd mom to us. The Mahoney and Diggins families were very close. Mary and Jack and Laura and Jim were friends from the neighborhood and school. We will forever have fond memories of times spent together. Our condolences to the Mahoney family. What a dynasty!
