I just happened upon Principal Barrett's passing by following a link about the 50th anniversary of AP Giannini where I went to school in the late 70's. A funny memory I have of her was when someone stuck gum in my hair one day and I had to go to the office to get it out! Principal Barrett used typewriter fluid to get it out! I was a good kid and that was the only time I had to go to the principal's office - honest!
