My condolences to the family. I use to live down the street from them on Puffin Ct. in Foster City. All of us kids on the street, Bing, Matt and the others use to play bicycle tag together, pretty brutally. I have pics packed away somewhere; if I find them I will post them on here. I came across this while doing searches of my own family background and old address searches, felt strange when this popped up. I have some fun stories I could tell, but won't on here. Again, my condolences to the family.

My sincerest condolences. I am a cousin. Been looking for Matthew for some time. I'm blown away with not knowing. And so sorry we couldn't have seen each other again. Love goes out to his wife, children and grandchildren.

That he was an amazing cousin when we were young and growing in the Bay Area. I will always remember the house in Foster City, his mom, dad and brothers. And of course his grandma Mollie. I am so sorry for his loss, too soon. Marna Blanchard (daughter of Barbara Barazoto)

Mary, Matt and Christopher, All I can say is, Matt was the best friend to anyone, great husband, Father, fantastic Brother-In-Law and the amazing Uncle Matt to my Daughters Ali and Lily. He coached the girls in soccer. He would give his life to protect them. His sense of humor was uplifting. Man, that laugh he had! I was always in awe of his passion and kindness. You are missed, my Friend :(

I will miss Matt. He always made me laugh and I loved him very much. I met Matt 15 years ago while I was working at ABA Chimney. He used to bring Jade down with him. He always had some type of joke for me. When I started working at Warm Solutions, we would deliver his dampers or high wind caps to the company and always chatted with us. At the different times of the year I would bake Fresh Pumpkin Cranberry Bread especially made for Diabetics. I would give him a few loaves and always said to share it with Mary Mary. I was not sure if it made it home for Mary. Sometimes if I was having a bad day I would call Matt and he always brought me back up. I will miss Matt!!!
