To whom it my concern, hopefully someone who needs a sign, a moment, something special.
I didn't know Matthew but he meant a great deal to someone who meant a great deal to me. It was through her online imprint I discovered Matthew and how much his passing hurt her, I found myself saddened by Matthew's story. I truly hope he is at peace and they've found eachother, it's always easier with someone else leading the way. Tóg go bog é mo chara, rest easy Paula.

dear micki - he will always be remembered for his spunk and energy, and the joy he brought to all of us. in particular his trip up here to the country when he drove my forest green pontiac which he loved, and he relaxed in the sunshine for a good deal of time.
i will also remember when he was just a little guy, in your arms, when i first met him. we knew then that he was a special boy, just like dante. thank goodness you had him for as long as you did. he will well be remembered up here at my place!

Dear Micki, Dave and grandparents and family members of Matthew,
I have known Micki since we were 11 years old. I remember when she first told me she was pregnant with Matthew and then her story of delivering such a bright, happy little baby. What a delight! He brought many wonderful memories to all that loved him throughout the years - as a little tyke with a mischievous smile and tremendous love for all things.... Although I did not know him personnally as he grew into a young man, I knew of his difficulties. It was with tremendous shock I learned of his early death. I know Micki has done wonders with NAMA - her efforts to bring forward information to include the need for community assistance for people (and their family members) who are afflicted with this often 'society ignored' mental illness. I know Micki also wanted Dante to know that his big brother loved the hell out of him...and how Dante's sweetness brought smiles to Matthew's face. It is hard for me to write this note when I think of the heartache this tragedy brings to Micki - a Mother who gives all - and to her family. I love you sister! Be strong (as I know you are) for Dante...for yourself...and for your sweet Matthew.

There are not enough words to express how we feel about Matthew. I'll never forget Matt in his little Red & Yellow car in the backyard and getting out to give Michelle & Christina a ride. Not a day goes by when he's not thought of. We're proud that he was our nephew. He brought alot of happiness into all of our lives. Me and Matt lived just one block from eachother growing up, and we spent a great deal of time together throughout St.Roberts, then on to Burlingame high. My Condolences go out to you & your family! I haven’t seen Matt since my senior year of high school (02) but have always wondered how he had been doing! I still remember the days of myself Matt, Steve & Chris all hanging out w/ friends at different events such as Saint Roberts Festivals…
I pulled out old pictures of all of us from 97’ and just the thought of him not being around is extremely sad. I was able to attend the mass on Wednesday but unable to sign the guest book!! Matt will always be remembered for being a good reliable friend who loved to have fun and make us all laugh! He is missed by many but will never be forgotten!
