May Lee Obituary

LEE, May (Lee, Chin May Yoke) - Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on August 10, 2005 in San Francisco, at the age of 81, surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of Dan Shui Young of 60 years; loving mother of Rita (Joe); Calvin, Donna (Ben), Julie, Edmund (Betty), Howard (Leila) and Joanne; devoted grandmother of Justin and Lucas Thome, Patrick, Everett and Kimberly Owyoung, Ryan and Christopher Young, Rodell (Azucena) Martinez, Jonathan and Jeffrey Lee; cherished sister of Daniel Chan; treasured uncle of Johnny and Hoover Chan. She will be forever remembered in our hearts for her generosity, helping others in need, devotion and everlasting love to her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, August 16, 2005, 6-7pm, at the chapel of Green Street Mortuary, 649 Green St., S.F. Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 11:00 am. Final interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Colma, CA. The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of May Lee to St. Mary's Medical Center-ICU, 450 Stanyan St., S.F., CA 94117 or The American Heart Assoc., 120 Montgomery St., S.F., CA 94104.
