I met Mike when he moved to Carson City. We became fast friends. I adored and loved him. We had a great time golfing together except when I would beat him. Ha! Ha! He was the sweetest, funniest and most thoughtful friend and I miss him dearly. I am so sorry to miss his celebration of life but know it will be well attended. He will always have a special place in my heart. My condolences to his son, sister, extended family and friends.

Mikey was a great guy and good friend to me. We were hunting buddies in Covelo & loved sharing our stories together. He made me laugh constantly (where my cheeks got sore). He was so animated, made hysterical noises, and loved to entertain. His love for music (70´s & soul) was the best and he´d throw down some great dance moves from time to time. He would call frequently to check-in on me, and would always call back if he wasn´t able to take my call. He was a great guy and will be missed immensely. My heart breaks for his family and the MANY friends who miss him already, as I do.

This is so sad. He came too the Dentist office where I used to work in San Mateo. He was larger than life. Great guy lived his stories. Prayers to his son when he was so proud of. Pam Repetto

My first memory of Mr. Mike was a huge smile sitting at an outdoor table at Happy Donuts where he and my father would meet to talk about jobs. I was maybe 6 or 7, He offered me a Donut Hole, I took the entire bag , he then got up and said, "You'll need an apple juice then."
He and my father would talk shop, followed by future hunting seasons and trips, as we sat at the Donuts shop. He was usually smiling and laughing. The last name Bright was fitting and I had asked my dad if that's why he named the paint company Bright Painting Co. My dad answered no, he's just too cheap to paint the "M" back on the van.
Mike will be missed, his huge presence will leave a void and his enormous laugh will echo in the hearts who loved him.
Deepest condolences to his family who he loved so dearly.
