Kim and the boys...I am so sorry for your loss, your in my thoughts. Mike, you, Patrick and I were close and spent a lot of time together as kids, I have thought back to that time often over the years. I have many great memories of us playing and getting into trouble at the house in Pacifica. Even though we have lost contact over the years I have kept tabs on you and Patrick, thanks to Aunt Ruth and Uncle Jerry. I am proud to have you and Patrick as my cousin. I love you all.

We hardly knew you. And barely knew your family like we should have, but our hearts go out to them. It's good to hear how they are holding together to help each other cope. Thanks for sharing your Mom and Dad thru the years. If you were as good to your family as Ruth and Jerry have been to me, we have all been very lucky. I hope that we can all live and learn by your example.

To my brother Mike.
As I sit here tonight the day after we laid you to rest there are so many things that I wish I could say to you. But as with most things I put them off until latter. Well latter will never come. I want you to know that I was and always will be proud to call you my brother. When we were little and mom made you do the things that moms do, you were always kind and took care of me. While we were growing up you always taught me through your words and your actions. throughout it all, the childhood feuds, putting household objects in bed with each other and latter the debates about our jobs you were there when I need you, and I always knew that I could count on you. I know that I could have been a better brother to you,but I promise you that I will be the best brother-in law and uncle possible. You can rest knowing that I will make sure Kim and the boys will always be taken care of.
Sitting here typing this I can not remember ever telling you that I loved you, so I will say now.
I love you Mike....
pat.

To the Galindo Family - I just needed you to know how much Mike and his boys touched my sons life. They were patient, understanding, and so very caring. Something he needed so badly. My son is going to be a better person for having Mike in his life. For such short period, he did such big things. I thank God every day that he put my son in Mikes path - he truly was our angle.
Our thoughts are with you,
Kim Williams and Jacob Williams
(Mike - God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.)

Lt. Galindo was a great man to work for, but more than that he was a great friend. His door was always open to those who needed him and he never pushed you away when you had a problem. I'll never forget seeing him at 7:30 each morning, we'd tell jokes have several laughs and he'd always have some witty comment about us calling us "those graveyard girls". Kim my heart and prayers are with you and the boys, Lt. was so proud of his family and we were proud to know him.

Kim, Chris, Kevin, Corey and the rest of the Galindo Family,
I had the sincere pleasure of teaching right along side of Mike in the Inner Perspectives Leadership Course over this last year. I have never met a more honest, genuine and knowledgable person in my life. Mike quickly became a true friend and mentor to many of us in Inner Perspectives and elsewhere. I can't tell you how proud he was of each of his family members and how important each of you were in his life. Mike, you will be missed, but I hope you know that you will be with us each and every day.

On behalf of South Bay Regional, I would like to extend our deepest sadness over the loss of Lt. Mike Galindo. As you know, Mike was one of our most beloved and dedicated instructors at the Police Academy. For many years, Mike not only gave graciously of his time, but also was faithfully committed to the training of the next generation of Peace Officers. Most importantly, Mike instilled in students integrity, leadership and a genuine love for the job. He put the fun into the job without compromising quality and professionalism.
South Bay was privileged to know Mike, and while his presence will be greatly missed, the legacy he leaves behind will forever be celebrated.

I am deeply sadden by your loss, Kim. My prayers go out to you and your children, as well as all of Mike's family. I met Mike many years ago through my job with the San Mateo Sheriff'f Forensic Lab. Mike was a highly respected and trained investigator. Since my retirement I had been fortunate to cross paths with Mike at the Police Academy. While we taught different subject matter it was always good to see a familiar face and talk about interesting cases. Mike will be truly missed. Please accept my deepest smypathies.

To Kim and the Galindo Boys,
Mike and I go way back, long before either one of us were cops. Though I haven't seen him in several years, his death hit me like a brick. He was a good friend and a great cop. I learned a lot from him. Twelve years ago he saved my life. A story I hope someday I can share with you. I will never forget him for that. Though my children never met Mike, they will never forget him for that either. He was a true hero. Your father and husband was someone you can be proud of. Boys, walk tall and hold your head high, and when people ask who you are you can tell them "Mike's Kid".

Our familes deepest sympathy to you and yours. Kim, I was the harassing voice in the background when Mike would call you from Inner Perspectives class. (“That Sgt. from San Bruno” he would say) Chris, Kevin and Corey your dad was very proud of each of you. We spoke of baseball whenever we could. Mike, from Tanforan Police Week and throughout our professional and personal relationship I have respected your opinions, intelligence and most of all the sincerity in which you speak, a true mentor. Rest well.

"Tiny" was a great cop, a dedicated family man and coach to his boy's sports teams. He always beamed with pride when he spoke of his boys. Mike was an outstanding criminal investigator and the best partner I could ever ask for. In more recent years he shared his extensive knowledge with police recruits, preparing them make our communities a safer place for our families. I will sorely miss my friend.

There are no words to express to Kim and the boys of how much we are sad for them. Mike was such a nice person and did not deserve to live such a short life. Even though his life was short he has proven to have given his all. He is an example to all people of what is possible in life if you want to make a difference. We will truly miss him.
