Molly was born in San Francisco, CA, the second of 3 daughters of Walter and Audrey Williams. She left us on 3-8-25 in Folsom, CA. She was a kind and compassionate lady who deeply loved her family and friends. Molly lived most of her life in the family home in Cole Valley, SF.
Growing up in SF, Molly was active in Blue Birds, Camp Fire Girls, and Job's Daughters, having made lifelong friends there. She also spent time working with Special Olympics athletes, including her favorite athlete, her sister Erin. This began her participation with the Bethel Center for the Developmentally Disabled, including her membership on the BCDD advisory board.
While attending CSUSF Molly worked part-time at the Emporium, a position that became full-time upon her graduation. She left when it became part of Bloomingdale's, where she was employed until her retirement.
Molly is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Russell, nephew,Zachary, his wife, Linda and their newest addition, Julia, who Molly hadn't met yet. Also surviving her is the Dunford family and her goddaughter, Kaitlyn.
Family and friends will hold a celebration of life at Cypress Lawn Cemetery, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 11 AM. Contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or an organization of your choice that benefits members of our community are preferred.
